Training, or rather, stroke practice session was really good.
We focused on stretching, pushing ourselves and all was worth waking up as early as 5am for.
At least we had more practices and in an area and time where there isn't people looking at what we're doing.
We're doing this because our strokes are highly confidential.
Not even SeaHawk knows about it.
Only a few who are closer to Coach Jackson will know about it.
Then JC asked me to join the guys for SH's training.
Guess what?
Their secret to training for still/reservoir waters is to tie a tyre at the back of the boat to help create resistance.
And I tell you, having a tyre behind and rowing isn't as easy as you think it is.
It made the water feeling so heavy that after only 20mins, I feel my muscles being fatigue.
So, after training, helped the guys with their stuff and went to bathe.
Had lunch with Raymond, PK and brother.
Just as we're done with our food, Coach Jackson and Amos came to our table and talked about our strokes and other relevant stuff.
Soon after, everyone started feeling warm and we headed down to Bugis to chill and talked more about our strokes, SH stuff, and some other dragonboating stuff.
Oh and, a big thank you to Raymond who treated us each to a mango smoothie from TCC!
And Coach Jackson said that he'll put 18guys and 2 girls down to row for master series!
Come on girls, let's fight for the two places!
Okay off to go update cwdb's blog.
