Time for school!...NOT!

I'm supposed to be in school right now, but Farh and I decided to be in school a little later than usual.

So I'm here blogging and talking to her at the same time.

I'm so glad to be going back to the place I call school. It's like we're having a huge gathering in our classroom and after today, I'll miss everyone laa.

Yes, I'll definitely cry during my graduation. Oh god. Just hope that my graduation don't fall on any of the Camp Renewal days.

I just love my ft people. Because they made me feel as if I'm in poly/in an American high school and also they gave me lots of fun and laughter.

I will really really miss them laa, especially my girls, Farh, Fieza, Dragonfly, Zetti and Eqah my guys, Firdaus and Zainul, my juniors, Brother, Lexson, Weisiang plus CGR students, last but not least, my lecturers, Ms Koh, Mr Azlan and Mr Muthiah. They really made me feel sooo comfortable in class even though we might have conflicts here and there.

Sigh, I really hate this feeling...

Oh right, recce for yesterday and today were hmm...how can I say?

Friutful?

It's like three male malays and one chinese female.

But my experience wasn't like XiangLi's.

The first time I was put in this position was Catholic High School Cub Scouts. I literally felt that I was being bullied by the guys. But as time goes, I got used to it and were literally bonded with them. They're Ismail (FB), Kai (wet) and Saiful. (okay, so, maybe the only one without a nickname is Sai aannndd, you wouldn't want to know mine. XP)

They're my laugh finder. Because, it's like whenever I'm with them, they'll definately make me laugh non-stop for around 2-3mins. HAHA!

So, I've conqured Sentosa and Southern Ridge (which includes the Bukit Chandu, Hort Park, Mount Faber's tree top walk and Marang Trail) and nope, I didn't sustain any muscle pull or whatsoever just a handful of mosqiuto bites.

X)

Okay lar, I'll blog whenever I have time tomorrow.

Gotta go work on my presentation.

Singapore River Regatta was awesome!

The first day heats as ITE College West tertiary womens' and mens' team did really great. Ladies team did their best but was in last position whereas the guys did their best and got third placing but didn't qualify for the finals because only the top two teams qualify for the finals.

Nevertheless, rowing as another team but with the same people on the boat with additional people like Amos and Michelle really made up for the two previously mentioned events. Because we came in first position for the Kabun Bahru CSC team B and third for Kabun Bahru CSC team A and both qualified for the semi-finals held today.

Then for today, everyone did well for their races. The team who went down for PA somethingsomething race, they did really really well. As for the rest, it was really realy good too, everyone's neck to neck but we did was our best and it was nobody's fault. It's because the teams we were competing with were strong teams and that is to let us know where we stand and we'll give our very best to our coaches and all the trainings that we'll be going through. Right guys (and ladies! XD)?

Anyway, it scares me that I'll be busy this whole week and I haven't done my report and presentation. I'll be so dead la. I hope that Shima would understand that I've not yet graduated from ITE and will still need off for school related stuff.

Sigh.

So many things, so little time.

Btw, I'll get the photos we took yesterday and today up here asap. XP

DANG!

I have nothing to do again.

So much for being too effective. HAHA!

So far, being a PPT/FT staff wasn't too bad. Because, I kinda liked doing admin/secretarial jobs and yes it was really a PLUSPLUSPLUS all thanks to CPA in Jurongville Secondary School and SS in OFFICE in ITE College West (Clementi) which Shima said it was a really good thing coz Saiful was more of a hands-on person.

Yes, I really enjoy doing it in Innotrek because, YOU DON'T HAVE TO WEAR MAKE-UP/DOLL YOURSELF UP/WEAR HEELS IN ORDER FOR YOU TO WORK IN AN OFFICE! MUAHAHAHAHAHA!

That's one thing I hate about normal offices. For goodness sake, you're working in a cubicle and no one's gonna look at you so why doll yourself up?

Unless you want to seduce/flirt with this cute colleague of yours in a neighboring cubicle or something, I don't have any say.

But one thing that have kept me pondering is that, why would girls wear make-up to school?

LOL!

Even, going to school, I don't see a need to doll yourself up lor. Why leh? Want to woo guys ar? Nope, that is what I call, Attention-Seeker (aka, AS)/ Wannabe. Wear make-up everyday. Omg lah. Okay let's say, before you're introduced to make-up, you wake up for school at 7.30am and your class starts at 9am and after you've been introduced to make-up, you wake up at maybe 5.45am to 6am to do your beauty regime and make-up when class starts at 9am. See what I mean?

It's like your make-up is making you look more less prettier for you to have a reason to put on make-up. Besides, guys would want to date girls who are what they are and not heavily made up dolls. Yes, occasional make-up for dates are alright but for work? For schools? Don't think about it man.

Anyway, I finally went to JVS just to drop off a camp report. Sadly, it was (I think) the start of their holidays so, no Mr. Mohan, no Mr. Thomas and no other familiar faces. It was sad la. I was expecting to bump into Mr. Thomas and have a chat with him. Mehh.

But I did saw Saliha in her NP PT outfit la (actually, she's the one who spotted me first. Lol.). So cute can! HAHA!

Alright, I shall not procrestinate and go back to working on my internship presentation.

Ciao!

Hm. I found some intersting quotes while surfing the net finding new quotes to put into the new camp booklets that I'm supposed to design for next year's camps.
"Don't be discouraged. It's often the last key in the bunch that opens the lock"

-Unknown Author

"When you feel like giving up, remember why you held on for so long in the first place."
~ Unknown
But there's this particular one that I saw just now and couldn't find it. Mehh.

Oh well.

I'm contemplating whether to go Orchard to with JinTing or go home. Mehh.

Think I'll go somewhere first.

*UPDATE*

Okay, I'm how at home and YESSSS!! Finally got my purple dress for my cousin's wedding. One thig less to worry about. Now the main thing to worry about is CAMP RENEWAL!

OMG, Azlan said that it's 'The Best Camp Of The Year' each and every year they did since they started it the year before last year.

He also said in the meeting is that it's the not the normal kind of sec/pri school camp we do in DFAC of SSC.

So, people out there, this part of my post is for you.

If you wanna be a camp instructor or you enjoy teaching kids the outdoor way, come on down and join OUR BIG FAMILY!

Just mail me or add me in friendster/facebook/ MSN and I'll give you the relevant details.

OHOH!

CAMP RENEWAL
When? 15th-19 Dec 2008
Where? Dairy Farm Adventure Centre, Sarimbun Scout Camp, A campsite in Malaysia.
How Much? $65 for current trainers and $160 for new trainers

BUTBUTBUT, I will be (I think) buddy group with Ismail for Camp Renewal! My meaning of that will only mean one thing, I'll be trainer for CR. I'll feel soo weird laa. Most of the seasoned trainers under a newbie like me. Stress sia. Mehh

Oh well, I shall go to bed now.

I came across this from my July 08 archives:
The kids, they were really sweet yet irritating at the same time. They said that Aji is my boyfriend. HAHA!
It's like they saw into the future or something. It's like five months plus ago and we rarely did camps together. PLUS, he's my first buddy group sia. HAHA!

Even though we're still at the dating stage and all. I was really amazed by how we really did became closer to each other via camps and contacting each other.

I'm glad that I found him. I'm really glad that he did really prove me wrong -in my own views- that only a percentage of guys can be gentleman and can be as sweet as a girl. XD

I really really love him to bits laa~ XP

Anyway, I wanna dedicate a song to my darling dearest.

It's Fall For You by Secondhand Serenade.

The best thing about tonight's that we're not fighting
Could it be that we have been this way before
I know you don't think that I am trying
I know you're wearing thin down to the core

But hold your breathe
Because tonight will be the night
That I will fall for you
Over again
Don't make me change my mind
Or I won't live to see another day
I swear it's true
Because a guy like you is impossible to find
You're impossible to find

This is not what I intended
I always swore to you I'd never fall apart
You always thought that I was stronger
I may have failed but I have loved you from the start

Oh, But hold your breathe
Because tonight will be the night
That I will fall for you
Over again
Don't make me change my mind
Or I won't live to see another day
I swear it's true
Because a guy like you is impossible to find
It's impossible
So breathe in so deep
Breathe me in
I'm yours to keep
And hold on to your words
Cause talk is cheap
And remember me tonight
When you're asleep

Because tonight will be the night
That I will fall for you
Over again
Don't make me change my mind
Or I won't live to see another day
I swear it's true
Because a girl like you is impossible to find

Tonight will be the night
That I will fall for you
Over again
Don't make me change my mind
Or I won't live to see another day
I swear it's true
Because a girl like you is impossible to find
You're impossible to find

P/S: JB trip with dear was cancelled. But it's replaced by a date in town. X)
(at least I could still see him yo?)

Whoohoo!

I woke up at 5 in the afternoon today when I'm supposed to go for the last sea training with cw at 8am. I'm too shagged after two consecutive camps and to rush back home and realise that it was my paternal side cousin's wedding in the evening (although I did lepaked a tiny bit after breaking camp and area cleaning. XP). I was literally nodding off into dreamland at the table that I was sitting at -so tak glam lar!-

Meh, so, what I did the whole of today was to go find Ayub and Firdaus to rockclimb at SP then Amin, Adilia and Dear came! Then Jenny came (they -Jenny and Adilia- are Ayub's and Amin's girlfriends respectively).

As for tomorrow, it's my off day and I reserved for my dearest honey (like finally! XD).

And where are we going? I find that Singapore is too boring and I suggested that we go on a JB date and WE ARE! So, Don't miss me yo!

Mehh.

I didn't know that I'll be doing back to back camps this week and it sucks when you're told about it the last minute.

Oh well.

I wonder what's my group's reaction when they opened the box. I wonder what's my group's reaction when hear what the little note says. I wonder whether they'd even open the box or not. HAHA!

Anyway, woke up waay early and was greeted my some of the girls whose one side of the shoe was 'stolen' by the mother dog for, I don't know, a chew toy? LOL!

Then I headed down to APS for open house booth. Kai slept for awhile and I fell asleep while waiting for the groups of students coming to the booth. Like the school over promised us saying that everything will end by 3pm the latest. In the end, it ended at four plus. I was like alone and everything's need to be done by me.

By the time I finally walked out of the school, it started raining heavily. I took shelter in the carpark and changed to my sandals and put on my rain cover onto my backpack. I was standing very near the entrance of the carpark, suddenly I saw lightning struck right infront of my eyes. I was like barely centimetres away from it lor.

I tio shock sia.

Okay, I shall go and pack my things for camp, bathe and head to bed.

So freaking sleepy can.

SO, What I've been doing these past three days?

I went to Malaysia to facilitate an adventure camp for Edgfield Primary School. I only knew it on monday and I'm off to m'sia. I was like omg la. So fast can.

But thank god that everything's fine except I didn't have auto roaming for my phone and have to use Mimi's phone to call mum (and I can't inform dear that I'm reached m'sia safe and sound lor.). Mehh.

It was fun yet icky. Fun because it was mostly water activities, icky because, you don't have a proper toilet/flushing system and you'll sure to have your blood sucked by tiny leeches.

Why we don't have those? It's because the campsite itself was meant to be kampong style. Where you're far from civilization. But weirdly, I don't feel as if I'm in m'sia at all. HAHA!

Anyway, talking about activities, almost all of the activities are wet activities. The best part of the whole camp was the waterfall trekking. It's like you trek for almost 3 hours and at the end, you get to swim inside a natural waterfall. That was really really shiok to the max can. HAHA!

But during the whole hike, my only fear was being bitten by tiny leeches. I don't know why, but yeah I'm kinda freaked out by them. I saw one in my inner right ankle, and pulled it out before it could have a sip of my blood. But after I reached the campsite, took out my right shoe to clear it from sand, I found a leech bite at the top of my foot. and guess what? It won't stop bleeding. Mehh.

ANDANDAND, there's a bunch of cats within the campsite itself. There's this black one that almost followed me wherever I go. HAHA!

Mehh. I'm tired. Think I'll go take a nap. I'll update more when I have the time!

P/S: I MISS DEAR SOOO MUCH LAA! But sadly, these few days we'll be busy with events and camps to meet up. )):

CHIJ St Nicholas Girls' School ended my internship with a big bang. I actually felt like crying when I was waving to them as their bus drove by us.

It's not because I'll miss them (of course I'll miss all of my kids la. XD), it's because it's my last time sending kids off as an intern.

I'll miss being an intern in Innotrek Pte Ltd. I know that we did alot of saikang jobs kenah effed by most of the full-timers when things go wrong but we have our good times too. Like how we'd enjoyed the bloopers in camps, slacked in training room 2 -watching a malay serial- when there's nothing to do.

Mehh, I'll miss all those funny guys mann. Even though they may be irritating at times, but I'm really glad that I've worked with them.

Ohoh! Speaking about CHIJ St Nicholas Girls' School the girls in my group made me ponder on a really interesting question, 'What is your ambition?'.

My ambition from young was to be a doctor. But in secondary school, I realised that I can't possibly be a doctor when I grow up since I'm in the EM3/Normal Tech stream. I then heard from an officer when I was in SJAB that ITE offers Nursing course. From there I aimed to be a nurse since ITE offers it. My 'N'level results came in. I flunked my maths which is a vital subject to get into the Nursing course.

And now after so many years, I've found a job which is far beond what my ambition. It was unexpected to me too. But then, it is what I really enjoy doing. Even my dad says so too. I hope that I won't be bored after a few months. I guess this is the answer to their question.

Okay, I guess that's it.
