I guess going down and watch the race today was the right choice. Now, I have the itch for wanting to train real hard for the PA Paddle Championships ont the 25 and 26th next month.

I guess I shouldn't put my focus on other stuff other than rowing. In order to train hard, everyone must put their head in the race and remember that we're a team and not an individual.

Like what my blog title have said,

DB= P+T+F+WH
DB= Passion+Teamwork+Focus+ Whacking Hard(during training)

So there, I shall just put everything down and just row.

I just went to Hydrotribe and saw this comment posted by MrPaddleshop and quote:

The races today were fantastic to watch. Although many teams were not in the line-up, I guess its was a good gauge for the teams in those races to judge their current standards as a prelude to the annual SDBA dragonboat festival.

I noticed the mixed races were in fact extremely competitive, with NJC, Neophytes and SAFSA putting up incredible timings. The mens and womens opens were almost predictable with NTU mens and NUS womens taking huge leads in their heats. I think it really boils down to how hard these guys train to reach the level that we see these days. I guess with the introduction of carbon fibre paddles, it realli cuts down on the race timings as well. Well, tml is still another day of races to look ahead to and hope it will only get better.
